Overview

The Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certifications allow IT professionals to distinguish themselves by targeting a specific technology and by demonstrating in-depth knowledge in their area of specialization. The status of MCTS is earned by passing any one of the MCTS exams. Also, multiple MCTS certifications can be obtained by passing two or more exams.

Passing any one of the five exams below will give one the title of an MCTS (Course outlines are provided below):

• Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 (70-236)
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (70-431)
• Microsoft Windows Vista (70-620)
• Windows Server 2008 Active Directory (70-640 / 83-640)
• Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure (70-642)
• Windows Server 2008 Applications Infrastructure (70-643)
