This CompTIA A+ Training Suite covers the new CompTIA A+ exams. This training fully prepares students for the 2009 Edition of the A+ Essentials exam 220-701 and the A+ Practical Application exam 220-702 while covering the latest exam objectives. Whether you are new to computers, or have been working with PCs and want to become CompTIA A+ certified, this interactive, multimedia training suite includes everything you would expect in the top self-paced training product on the market.

Our new A+ 2009 training has been updated to now integrate our hardware simulations with our OS (Operating System) simulations. This allows for more realistic configuration and troubleshooting scenarios. For example, in order to install a NIC (Network Interface Card) you must first turn off the computer and physically install the NIC. Once installed, you will then boot up the computer and log into Windows in order configure the new NIC. In the actual simulations this translates to a virtual work bench with accessories (NICs, Video Cards, Printers, Cables, etc.) and virtual PCs (Personal Computers) that can either be configured physically on the work bench or logged into and configured within the Windows environment. This allows us to push our simulations to the next level where they're not only aware of the Windows environment; but also the physical state of the PC as well as any configuration changes a student makes.
