Exercises

  1. Create a new project using one of the existing templates found on your computer.
  2. Modify the Project Information for the selected template to fit a real or fictional project you might work on including entering the following key information
    • The planned start date
    • The base calendar you will be using
    • How the tasks will be scheduled
  3. Save your new project giving it a name that is indicative of the project itself.
  4. Create a new blank project.
  5. Add the tasks you listed in the exercise completed in Module 2 to the task list.
  6. Reorder the tasks into an order that will better reach your project goals.
  7. Create/add a Milestone task at a crucial point in your project.
  8. Create the task dependencies for all the tasks in your project.
